STI & HIV Testing

NEW: Remote Testing – we offer self-testing kits for chlamydia and gonorrhoea. Please call us to discuss or book through our online booking system

You can now get a free online HIV test from www.hivtest.scot  If you think you have been at risk of HIV please call us because sometimes the online test is not the best test to be doing, and we can offer you testing for other STIs like syphilis, gonorrhoea and chlamydia.

If you have had sex without a condom you may be considering having a full STI test, this can include Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Syphilis, and HIV- you don’t need to have symptoms to ask for testing.

If you are worried though about a particular incident, and you have no symptoms, you should normally wait 14 days before getting tested or at least 28 days to be tested for HIV and syphilis so that there is time for the infection to show up on the test.

This can be done at:

  • your GP
  • one of our local Sexual Health Clinics
